Cash Register Generationa

The first generational cash register:

Departments are less than 10. PLUs are less than 350. There are few payment methods. It can only provide amount report, cashier report, department report and PLU report. It has not the capability of communication.

The second generational cash register:

Departments are more than 20. PLUs are more than 300. There are more than 4 payment methods. It can provide more than 4 reports. Data can be saved temporarily and can be recalled. It can communicate with PC and have ports for the electronic cash register (ECR) peripheries.

The third generational cash register:

It is also called PC-base cash register. It is a new generation based on PC. Besides the functions of data collection of the second generational cash register, it has the function of data processing.
